Not to worry, problem solved (by itself!!!!). lspci always listed the
board. I think I might have stumbled on an OS bug that involves tracking
the changes of PCI resources, but I cannot be sure and I don't have the
time to investigate right now. Only thing that matters is that it works
again ;)
