Hi,
i am trying to develop a new usb device that should use linux support for usb pen drives. I would like some help on what it takes to acomplish that. Where is the source code for the drivers? Is it necessary to modify something in the drivers or do I just need to develop a device that is compatible?
I am now reading Universal Serial Bus (USB) Mass Storage Class Specification (from www.usb.org).
But the documents don't say anything specific about pen drivers, but only floppy disks and other ones...
As long as the device presents itself as a mass storage device and complies with the protocol, it will work without any kernel changes.
