Yesterday I plugged in my USB CD burner and the following message appear on my terminal (I was not using X at the time):
usb-storage: This device (05ab,0060,1106,S06P50) has uneeded SubClass and Protocal entries in unusual_dev.h Please send a copy of this message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Vendor: AOPEN Model:CD-RW CRW5224 Rev:1.06 Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI Revision: 02 Attached scsi generic sg0 at scsi4 channel 0, id 0, lun 0, type 5
So I'm doing what it asked and sending it along. Hope it can be of help.
Thanks for reporting this -- it's been fixed in later versions of the kernel.
