One possibility is that your hardware isn't issuing
the interrupts it's supposed to be issuing ... are
you using CONFIG_PM?  If so, try disabling that to
see if this problem vanishes.  Also, send the dmesg
info showhing what happens (with CONFIG_USB_DEBUG)
during boot, and /sys/class/usb_host/.../registers
for this controller while the disconnects aren't
appearing.
