Hello Since Fedora switched to 2.6.9 suspend to RAM is broken on my thinkpad. It will go to sleep alright, but wake up automatically after some minutes and hang forcing a hard reset.
After some fiddling around with different kernels and configs, I found out, that this bug is caused by the setting CONFIG_USB_SUSPEND=y in Fedoras kernel config. If i disable this, everything works again (as it has always done since my first kernel (2.4.18 IIRC)). I filed this bug under category APM in kernels bugzilla: http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3916 but wanted to drop a note to the USB hackers, too. Perhaps anybody has an idea, how I can further debug the issue. There isn't a kernel argument which disables the USB-Suspend-Code by any chance?
