Hi! If have just finished a udc-Driver for the FHG_USB32 IP-Modul. (USB1.1, 5 endpoints, every one could do interrupt/iso/bulk, 64 Byte Fifo, Fullspeed)
Its passed with gadget zero tests the tests mentioned on www.linux-usb.org/usbtest connected to a Linux host and to Win Host with USBCV software from www.usb.org. Now Im trying to get the Gadget ether to work as CDC. Enumeration works fine, Host driver is loaded successfully, I can do ifconfig usb0 192.168.1.2 on the Host and on the Client: ifconfig usb0 192.168.1.1 Then I try to ping and get 100% packet loss, what ever the direction is. Taking a closer look with tcpdump brings: Ping from host to client: ICMP echo requests are flowing from Host to Client but there are no echo replies from Client to Host. Ping from Client to Host : IMCP echo request and replies are flowing in their correct directions, just as expacted. But still 100%packet loss. So something must be wrong in the network layer of the client. So I started debugging: rx_complete is called from udc after finishing receiving a packt. now the packet is passed via 'netif_rx' to the network core. So far no error occured. After 'netif_rx' debugging is very, very hard, but I guess someone is killing my packet from the queue. I have analysed a packet transfered thru the udc. They seem to be just normal ethernet packets but one thing is strange: The are 98 Bytes long for a normal 56 Byte Ping. After taking a very deep look at the packet I cannot locate the Ethernet Checksum which should be 4 Bytes long and reside at the very end of the packet. Now my questions: Where can I switch on in deepth debugging for the network layer(everything after netif_rx)? Is it OK not to have a ethnernet ckechsum? Did I miss configure something?
