It's some kind of IRQ setup problem, that's all -- not a USB issue.

ACPI, APIC, LAPIC, and IOAPIC settings may all need adjustment.  Also, try
the latest kernel (2.6.11-rc2), there are constantly changes to fix IRQ
setup problems.
