Hi Greg,

Please find the attached for the source code.

I have created a device file with the major 180 and minor 0. When I open
the device file using my C program it is working fine, even I checked
with writing some AT commands and I got response also. It is calling my
drivers open, write and read functions and they are working fine.

To setup data call I used CKermit and the "set line" is not detecting
this device file. Whenever I try to "set line" to my device file, it is
calling my drivers open (I checked it from /var/log/messages), but
finally it says "Cannot open the Connection".

Thanks,
Nagan

Please, do not use html email, the mailing list does not allow it.

Anyway, you stated that the usb-serial driver works, but your driver
(the one you wrote) does not. I merely asked where we can find your
driver's code to help you out.

Is your driver not open source? And if not, how is this possible?

thanks,
