I don't think it should.  This should have the same effect as the previous 
move from calibrated values to raw values (2.6.6 to 2.6.7), i.e. anyone 
using software calibration will just have to re-run their calibration 
program.  And using the calibrated coordinates is what the driver did up 
to the 2.6.7 kernel.

However, if you think passing the raw values is still needed, would a 
module parameter that selects raw or hw-calibrated be better?
