you reported a problem which Alan Stern had a patch for. I've taken over
handling the unusual_devs part of the usb-storage driver for him, so I
wanted to follow up on where this was. Did you receive a patch that
added an entry like this to drivers/usb/storage/unusual_devs.h:

UNUSUAL_DEV(    0x03eb , 0x2002, 0x0100, 0x0100,
                "Generic",
                "MusicDrive",
                US_SC_DEVICE, US_PR_DEVICE, NULL,
                US_FL_IGNORE_RESIDUE),

If so, did it work? If not, let me know, I'll send you a patch against
the latest kernel.org kernel for you to try.
