A new device.

Already formated fat32

I was able to create a file up to the filesystem max (2G) with out any
problems

I then reformated it fat32 under linux

Started to sucessfully copy 12G of pictures.

But then I copied some files off a cdrom, and the whole system locked
up...

No response, and nothing in syslog/dmesg

I had the same problems. I can recommend the first patch Alan sent - it makes 
the resets faster. I think I remember that it solved the problem for some 
people, but not for me. After a lot of debugging and trying I found out that 
it was a hardware problem and a new usb controller fixed it.
