In thinking about it more, I would much rather have a broken version of
a driver for this device in the main kernel tree, than none at all.
This makes anyone trying to write a closed source driver have to jump
through even more hoops to get their device to work :)

So, fix up the formatting issues (your braces are in the wrong places,
see Documenation/CodingStyle) and send the patch.
