hi,all I am sorry to bother you,but I met some trouble in usb driver in kernel 2.4.20. I use linux and the kernel vision is 2.4-20,cpu is powerpc405.The pci to usb contraller is VT6212.When i use the usb driver which is inclued in the kernel, it can find the VT6212 and work.But its performance is not stabile . I copy large file(several hundreds of Mbytes or more ),the embeded linux system will hang. The copy cannot be finished.
Why? And how to solve it? Is there any better usb 2.0 driver for VT6212 to solve the problem? and the driver can be coplied with the kernel 2.4.20. Please don't tell me to update the kernel. Our developing board is special.The kernel is special for our developing board. we dont know what changes had been done in the kernel, it's difficult for us to change the kernel for our board correctly in another version kernel such as 2.6.if we update the kernel, maybe the usb can word well,but the others can not work well or stable.
