uba comes from using a different USB storage driver, one called 'ub',
for USB block device driver.  It doesn't use the Linux SCSI layer
for device command translations.

It is CONFIG_BLK_DEV_UB if you want/need/care to disable it and go back
to using the USB_STORAGE driver.
