A page printed in USB 1.1 took 20 minutes (or 1200 seconds). So at 2.0, it should take 30 seconds. It doesn't. It's as good as immediate. Also, there seems to be a somewhat random behaviour with 1.1 - sometimes a timeout is detected by the printer (amber LED is blinking). After pressing the online button, the green LED blinks again, and waiting continues. This would indicate large periods where no data is transferred. No expert(c), but this seems logical to me. John BTW: that's if the 40x speedup can be really obtained on my machine, which is not too fast. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
