Just as an extra information, I just rebooted the machine and got another oops with kernel 2.6.13-rc6-mm2 when I unplugged the USB mouse I bought.
BTW, I didn't mention it earlier, but I am connecting the USB mouse through an USB port on the USB keyboard that I am using. I may try later without using this keyboard and report back. I noticed the problem when the mouse wasn't firmly connected on the USB connector. :-( Anyway, here is an excerpt from the dmesg output: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (...) I will also try with other versions of the kernel and report back what I find. Oh, as a last note, the mouse *doesn't* work anymore if I reconnect it, unless I reboot the box, which is quite inconvenient, since I'm doing some audio-stuff that's taking a reasonable amount of time. :-( Thanks for any help, Rogério. -- Rogério Brito : [EMAIL PROTECTED] : http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito Homepage of the algorithms package : http://algorithms.berlios.de Homepage on freshmeat: http://freshmeat.net/projects/algorithms/ ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ linux-usb-devel@lists.sourceforge.net To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-devel
