Just as an extra information, I just rebooted the machine and got
another oops with kernel 2.6.13-rc6-mm2 when I unplugged the USB mouse I
bought.

BTW, I didn't mention it earlier, but I am connecting the USB mouse
through an USB port on the USB keyboard that I am using. I may try later
without using this keyboard and report back.

I noticed the problem when the mouse wasn't firmly connected on the USB
connector. :-(

Please, let me know if I can provide any further information on this
issue so that it can be solved. I will also try with other versions of
the kernel and report back what I find.

Oh, as a last note, the mouse *doesn't* work anymore if I reconnect it,
unless I reboot the box, which is quite inconvenient, since I'm doing
some audio-stuff that's taking a reasonable amount of time. :-(
