Actually Philips has a nasty habit of advertising things as "OHCI-compatible" (and ISTR "EHCI-compatible" too) where the compatability is limited to a subset of the registers ... but where the in-memory data structures are so incompatible that a real OHCI (etc) driver can't be modified to use them. That's why we have an isp116x-hcd driver, instead of hacks to the OHCI code to understand the "Philips Transfer Descriptors" (PTDs) as well as the real OHCI-conformant TDs. So ... do use 2.6.current, but don't modify either OHCI or EHCI drivers unless Philips has really Seen The Light and decided to actually conform to those specs. - Dave ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
