What are these "hardware and support issues"?  Are there drivers present
in 2.4 for your platform that are not present in 2.6?  Is there anything
that we can do to help out with makeing 2.6 work for your platform?

I would really recommend pressuring your vendor who provided your kernel
for you to fix this, as the community doesn't really support the 2.4
kernel very much for things like this.
