I haven't looked at the driver in Greg's tree, but I'm afraid your
patch won't help my printer.

To make my printer work you need to have FSBR running the whole time.
You get one packet through every 112 msecs or so.  So if you turn off
FSBR after 50msec of inactivity, it will stop working.
If that was increased to 120msecs of inactivity, it would at least be
worth testing.

I really think the only sensible fix for my printer is to have a
'quirk' based on the devid which turns on FSBR  full time.
