Yup. He said: "The card reader itself works fine, it just reports a capacity off by 1 sector (like many others...) I just didn't notice this before using udev vol_id on it ;) (which tries to read the last sector). Here also the /proc/bus/usb/devices entry, as requested in the comment in unusual_devs.h" I can't verify that not having the card. If the patch allows him to run "udev vol_id" but he can't run it sans the patch, _something_ is up. Have you ever tried to read to the last sector on your card?
