Hi,

I was able to revive the drive by running mkfs -n to figure out the
backup superblocks and then using e2fsck -b # -v -y to repair the
drive. I'll keep it on the usb connection for a while.

When under windows none of the ext2/3 programs could read it while it
was fubar'd.
