Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the recipy but it didn't help. This was strange and I then tried an USB sniffer, which revealed a malformed command just after reading MBR and then a reset. I am still investigating this, but the problem disappeared by disabling DMA on omap_udc.c, so it seems to not have been file storage problem at all.
