Just in case anyone has missed it, there's a separate thread in which Nickolay Shmyrev reports how he managed to get his device (ADATA MyFlash FP1) to work: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-usb-devel&m=114630307706904&w=2 I don't know to what extent the different data protection schemes used by these devices are comparable. For the ADATA device there apparently was no real protection at all, just inconvenience. Alan Stern ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
