I've independently found Dan Streetman's ehci TT scheduler patches looking for some other ssplit scheduling rule clarifications. He implements the part I was going to do last [schedule counting]. At this point, I've implemented the parts he didn't (FSTN and sITD backpointer support for frame spanning). I'm using his patches as an additional reference for the scheduling work [it's a nice confirmation that each place the original code made me go 'wha--?', he's got a similar comment to that effect ;-]
Two questions: He sent the patches as seven parts; I've found archives of all but the one labelled 1/7. I can find no reference to it anywheer (or what it implemented). Anyone happen to have a copy of that handy? Second: Why were his patches not accepted? I've not yet reviewed them in exhaustive detail myself, only skimmed over the strategy.
