Hi all, I'm a USB driver noob trying my hand at getting a Keyspan IR receiver to work. I thought I'd try the usbfs_snoop patch which I read about in Greg Kroah's article.
I've enabled usbfs_snoop at runtime with echo 1 > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/usbfs_snoop. However I'm not getting any new info of any kind in my kernel log after playing with a few USB devices, mainly the mouse. I've tried reloading klogd as well, to no avail... Any hints on what I'm doing wrong? This is a 2.6.15 kernel (Ubuntu stock kernel) on an old HP laptop with uhci driver.
