Like I said, many brands of hubs do not actually support power switching. > The log you asked is here. You didn't mention before that the keyboard is behind _two_ hubs! You'll probably find it works a lot better if you plug it directly into the computer. No doubt the problems you experienced are caused by the one of the hubs not initializing properly.
