Hallo,

why is there no usb_attach_kernel_driver_np() in libusb?

For example with the FTDI USB2Serial chips, we can use the chip as ttyUSB
via the kernel driver and as a machine for other (serial) protocolls  like
jtag via libusb. 

However if we detach the serial driver via the libusb call
usb_detach_kernel_driver_np(), we have no way to reattach it later, beside
unplugging the device or by issuing the ioctl by hand.
