Subject: [Bugme-new] [Bug 6823] New: Zyxel Uno USB modem broken by David
Kubicek's patch in 2.6.16

http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6823

Summary: Zyxel Uno USB modem broken by David Kubicek's patch in
                    2.6.16
    Kernel Version: 2.6.16
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
             Owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         Submitter: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur: 2.6.17
Distribution: Arch Linux
Hardware Environment: x86_64 and x86
Software Environment: pppd, chat, cdc-acm driver
Problem Description:
Modem duplicates incoming characters.
For example session log:
ATTTDT554404
COCONNNNECT

should be:
ATDT54054
CONNECT

2.6.15 works ok.

It seems that 2.6.16 patch downstream optimization in cdc-acm broke my modem...

Steps to reproduce:
1. Try to connect with pppd or minicom.
