While I continue working to split my scheduler patch up into smaller bits that are easier to review, I've tossed the monolithic version up on the web for testing. http://web.mit.edu/xiphmont/Public/kernel/ Short summary: It's an attempt to write the first fully complete bandwidth budgeter/scheduler for EHCI, no longer putting off the bits and corner cases that are hard to do. The short reason is that I need the scheduler to be fully capable of professional audio work. More details are on the patch webpage. At the moment, this patch is finished but alpha-grade; it's been running on my machines here, but that's very minimal testing.
