If the device isn't bound to a driver, it gets a standard USB port suspend. There's no corresponding code in resume_device(), so the device will remain suspended until some driver is probed for it. Similarly, as long as an interface isn't bound to a driver, its usage count will remain at 0. Hence it won't interfere with any autosuspend of the device.
