I've never heard of this release 2.0 before. > Are there plans to support this device class in the kernel in the near > future? I'm planning to implement this after I've read the spec and when I have time. > 2) Is it possible to implement a audio class V1.0 device with high > speed capabilities? The 1.0 spec doesn't say anything about high speed. Other drivers might get confused, but the Linux USB audio driver _does_ support high speed transfers. The only known device where this is used is the Audigy 2 NX. It avoids problems with generic drivers by switching from full speed to high speed only after receiving a vendor-specific command.
