Enable acm debugging (remove #undef DEBUG from cdc-acm.c) and send in the log. And please the output of "lsusb -v" and your current syslog. Which kernel version are you using?
2.6.17-10-generic in ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) current syslog and lsusb output in attachment. I will make the debugging tomorrow! BR -Peter
