Thanks.  Yes, someone on the arm-linux list mentioned this too.  Just 
delving into the PXA manuals at the moment.

Ok.  Yes, CDC appears to be working.  I was told that the problem could 
have something to do with Windows not sending a SET_INTERFACE, so the 
driver doesn't know to force the hardware to change interfaces on the 
endpoint.  I need to finish reading up on usb before I can confirm though.
