Better not change anything.
There is a small chance that someone has used the ioctls. It either 
still works for him or he is smart enough to switch to read and write. 
If not he will complain to us and we will help him.

The removal can happen in a later Linux version. We will probably have 
new members of the IOWarrior family then which will cause a retest of 
the driver anyway.
