Hi. I don't know if this is the correct list to hit, so please excuse me if it's not.
I have a DLP-TILT with an FT232RL with PID 0xfbfa which I couldn't get working with the ftdi_sio drivers. I emailed FTDI, and they suggested adding the PID to ftdi_sio.h. I changed FTDI_SIO_PID to 0xfbfa to get the device working, instead of adding a new PID. This worked fine. Should perhaps the 0xfbfa PID, corresponding to the FT232RL, which as far as I can see is not handled in ftdi_sio anywhere, be added to future releases so that other users won't have to add it manually? I don't know about your policies about these things, but I thought I'd ask. Info about the device, if that's necessary: /proc/bus/usb/devices contains: T: Bus=03 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 3 Spd=12 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=0403 ProdID=fbfa Rev= 6.00 S: Manufacturer=DLP Design S: Product=DLP-TILT S: SerialNumber=DPOLLZ6Q C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.)
