Just an FYI to those interested. A while back Greg had mentioned, on this list, that he wished there was a way his x.sh script could grab mime-sections from emails so he could easily parse attached and pgp-signed patches.
A while back I whipped something up for him, that as I understand it, is now part of his standard patch-processing. I cleaned it up, and released this under the GPLv2: http://www.phildev.net/mime_dump/ http://www.sf.net/projects/mime-dump/ Sorry for the somewhat off-topic post.. but since the whole thing started here, I thought it was worth mentioning. -- Phil Dibowitz [EMAIL PROTECTED] Open Source software and tech docs Insanity Palace of Metallica http://www.phildev.net/ http://www.ipom.com/ "Never write it in C if you can do it in 'awk'; Never do it in 'awk' if 'sed' can handle it; Never use 'sed' when 'tr' can do the job; Never invoke 'tr' when 'cat' is sufficient; Avoid using 'cat' whenever possible" -- Taylor's Laws of Programming
