I'm sorry for the long delay in answering your mail. The last few days where pretty busy and I've no better hope for next :-( Anyway the last patch does not apply cleanly to 2.6.20-rc3: it does fuzz and some hunks fail. It seams that the extended text API is not yet there in the mainline. I'm currently using tarball && patch from kernel.org; perhaps switching to a git tree (which one?!?) will simplify the update process ?!? I hope I can get the whole thing a spin in the week-end.
