I just took a look at the Linux-OMAP tree
(http://source.mvista.com/git/gitweb.cgi?p=linux-omap-2.6.git;a=blob;h=aad53
fdd2a3041967b2e249c77368c06a663a455;hb=bffa508892990cb399a10542b39d4e54387c5
549;f=drivers/usb/musb/g_ep0.c), and it doesn't look like my problem will be
solved by this code.

Did I look in the right spot?
