We have an evaluation board with this host controller that behaves the
same way.  A Google search of ISP1563 doesn't get many useful hits, so
it seems there aren't many uses of it or no one is advertising it.

Yes, I have been doing some testing and have been able to go as low as
500 us, but that is probably getting rounded up since Hz is set to
1000 in my build, and it is usually set at 250.
