It isn't listed. Do you have any error messages for USB in the output of
dmesg or in /var/log/messages? Could it be disabled by a hardware switch
or otherwise? (When I first got my laptop I disabled it in windows then
installed linux over it, I couldn't turn it back on without borrowing
someone hard disk that still had windows on it).
