I understand. FYI, I HAVE had to "recover" machines without a
monitor available. From the sounds of the harddisk checking that
I had succesfully logged in as root, and such.
Still, if the previous solution was to reboot the machine or the device,
then rmmod ohci_hcd ; modprobe ohci_hcd might be faster and more
convenient. If this works, of if it doesn't it can also serve as a
hint towards what is going wrong, helping to work towards a solution.
