Hi,
First of all I do not hava lsusb I simply use cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
(I do not think lsusb is included in slack 8.1). I get a CDCEther driver
autoloded for some reason..
So this is the complete output:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# cat /proc/bus/usb/drivers
usbdevfs
hub
CDCEther
serial
acm
When I connect the device my log says:
Nov 14 20:43:39 inget kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1,
assigned device number 6
Nov 14 20:43:39 inget kernel: usbserial.c: Generic converter detected
Nov 14 20:43:39 inget kernel: usbserial.c: Generic converter now
attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)
Then I'd like to open a connection to my phone via either minicom or cu
but nothing happen and I get no errors.
