I tried to connect my CoolPix 990 to the USB port. Before connection I added to the
usbmgr.conf file the line
vendor 0x4b0 product 0x102 module usb-storage
The USB manager is also started at boot up. The camera recognised it was connected to
the computer, and the computer recognised that a USB device was connected to it. The
problem was the computer did not recognise what the usb device was.
As a further point I have installed gPhoto 0.4.3 onto the computer. I am guessing that
the Port I should connect to is not one of the COM ports as this is a USB device so
how do I configure the other port option to recognise a USB camera?
