Has anyone looked at this thing? It is being sold as an "easy" method for
getting to your favorite sites. These guys will be happy to sell you
advertising and collect information on how often you go to the sites they
are advertising etc. etc.
What intrigued me about it though, is that it has a smart card interface
attached. It was "free with a rebate" at CompUSA a few weeks ago and I
got one. I haven't ripped it apart yet to see what drives it, but has
anyone looked at what it might take to get the smart-card part
working? Is there some method for seeing what the Windows driver sends to
the device? I was working on a parallel port device a while back and
someone had designed some simple hardware that allowed you to spy on the
connection and see what they were doing. Is there anything similar to
this for USB?
