Hello,
OK -- originally I had done this:
# lpr tmpfile.txt
lpr: connect: No such file or directory
jobs queued, but cannot start daemon.
So I ran (as root) lpd. Then I issued lpr again; now I don't get that
error but the printer does not print.
However, you advised to print a .ps file. So I loaded gv and
clicked 'print document'; nothing happened. I didn't get any error
-- but the printer just sits there.
I do want to get the following working:
- cups
- gimp-print
