Has anybody had any luck with the HP PhotoSmart 215 digital camera? I saw
the information on linux-usb.org about the PhotoSmart 315; the procedure
there (where, once the usb-storage module is loaded, the device can be
mounted as a scsi disk) doesn't seem to work. (I'm using Linux 2.4.4.)

I've tried using gphoto2 as well, also to no avail.

When I've got the thing plugged in, and I cat /proc/bus/usb/devices, I get
the output below. There are a couple of 2-3 second delays during the
printing of this output; I don't know if this is related to the problem or
not. Notice that no driver has claimed this device; I do have the dc2xx
and usb-storage modules loaded.

Can anybody offer me any suggestions as to how to get this camera working
with Linux?

Thank you,
