hello,
I am having trouble getting this printer to work. Catting text to
/dev/usb/lp0 won't do anything. module 'printer' is loaded; furthermore,
the usb messages reflect the correct model string. I heard that an init
string must be supplied in order to use the printer under USB, however,
this is through Ghostscript AFAIK -- and I have supplied the string but it
does not seem to do much. The printer just sits there.
I have:
* Kernel 2.4.3pre4
* athlon 1 Ghz/asus a7v board w/onboard promise IDE/ata100 (which I
cannot figure out how to get working)
Can anyone help?
