Greetings all, I have found an annoying problem with a new USB keyboard. I have a dual celeron 466 SMP machine on an Epoch KP6-BS motherboard with UHCI USB support (I have tried both uhci and usb-uhci). The keyboard is a Happy Hacker Lite USB model which has an additional 2-port usb hub. The problem is if I boot with the keyboard plugged in the smpboot process can only boot one CPU and I get the keyboard: Timeout - AT keyboard not present? error. (see attached kernel messages). I have tried dozens of kernel configurations with keyboard support both build in to the kernel or loaded as a module. If I replace with a PS2 keyboard during boot up all goes well.
