I have a serial USB adapter which apparently is from Aten International.
VendorID = 0x0557
ProductID = 0x2008

This one was sold under the name of IOGEAR as G-UC232A.

My kernel is versio 2.2.16

I've got the laptop to recognize the device with the generic usbserial
driver.

I've tried cu -l /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 on it and I've had on the other side my
palmIII with a vt100 terminal.

The problem is now that what ever I send from Linux side over USB ends up on
the palmIII as 'space' characters.

Has anyone got this device working?
