I have sought your advice previously, without any response, but now I
have a bit more information that one of you experts might see a clue in.
I am trying to get a usb "pocketzip" drive from Iomega working with
Mandrake 8.0 (upgraded to 2.4.5 kernel). It has worked just once, when I
first connected a usb 2GB jaz drive and then umounted it. The 2GB jaz
works fine but having to install it first defeats the purpose of having
this small format, much more portable pocketzip drive. And that scenario
will only work on my notebook, not my desktop which has a scsi
controller. Any suggestions about what else I might try?

Thanks, Nelson Hogg
